Signature End Pins

Our signature connection pins in both Black Steel and Solid Brass, feature intricate knurled detailing and showcase the systems patented ‘click together’ connection and celebrate the simplicity of assembly.

Durable and hardwearing, the new pins further enhanced the design choices available to you the customer and add a luxurious contrast with brass, or for a more industrial look black steel.

Metalwork

The metal framework of our system is made from 20x20mm profile square tube. When manufacturing our end ladders, we use TIG welding to create incredibly strong, discrete welds. Metal parts are finished with an Epoxy Powder Coated finish. This is a process whereby a small electrical charge is passed through the steel part and the powder with an opposing charge is sprayed onto it, the powder adheres to the steel to create an extremely strong bond. The whole part is then baked in our oven at a very high temperature which liquefies the powder and creates a seamless, smooth finish. Powder coating is a very tough and hard-wearing finish.

Our Clear Coat option is exactly that, a layer of clear powder coating. This has all of the advantages of powder coating but shows the steel underneath. Not to be confused with cheaper clear lacquers, which can rub off over time. As our Clear Coat shows the steel beneath, the textures and details in the steel will vary and will show different levels of patina from the steel. There will be visible seam, welding and some grinding marks. These, in our opinion, add to the appeal of the Clear Coat finish which suits a more industrial style.

Anthracite (AN)

Epoxy powder coated in Anthracite RAL7016. Our Anthracite paint has a slight texture giving a matte finish.

White (WH)

Epoxy powder coated in White RAL9016. Our White paint has a slight texture giving a matte finish.

Clear Coat (CC)

Epoxy powder coated in clear. Our clear paint has a satin finish and shows the natural patina of the steel beneath.

Wooden Panels

Our graphite, white and oak panels are made from 18mm melamine faced, furniture grade particle board. Graphite and White panels have a smooth touch matt finish with a low gloss level, minimising glare. Oak panels have a natural texture that ensures an authentic feel.

All panels types are finished to all sides with ABS edging tape in a matching finish.

Graphite Grey (GR)

Our Graphite Grey is a "nearly-black" colour tone with an exciting blue component, which is often used as a varnish colour for metal frames.

18mm melamine faced particleboard with a melamine face to both sides. Finished with matching ABS edging.

White (WH)

A high quality, smooth touch matte white finish. Its warm tone creates a harmonious contrast to clear coat and anthracite framework.

Oak (OA)

A slightly textured, authentic looking Oak finish with distinctive dark inclusions, knots and a classic natural colour. Adds warmth and character.

Fabric Panels

The fabric panels are available as pinnable or non-pinnable versions. Both types of panel are covered in our range of 100% virgin wool fabric, upholstered with a 3mm foam back.

This fabric and foam combination has been tested and passed the Cigarette test according to Schedule 4 Part I of the Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 amended 1989, 1993 and 2010 (SI 1988/No. 1324, SI 1989/No. 2358, SI 1993/No. 207, SI 20110/NO. 2205) and the Match test according to Schedule 5 Part I of the Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 amended 1989, 1993 and 2010 (SI 1988/No. 1324, SI 1989/No. 2358, SI 1993/No. 207, SI 20110/NO. 2205).
